    I JUST CHECKED BOXREC AND IT SAYS FLOYD WON..I ALSO WATCHED THE FIGHT ON YOUTUBE AND AT THE END IT SAID FLOYD WON..HMMMM....:huh

    There's nothing like a Mayweather-Castillo discussion to put into context how difficult it is for people to score a fight without their personal bias.

    The eleventh was easy to score. Mayweather tried to stand his ground, landed some good shots in the middle of the round (which did not face Castillo) but still got outhusled down the stretch in that Round. Round goes to Castillo who landed and threw more in that round.

    Why does it matter? Win or lose it doesn't change anything. Floyd wouldn't suddenly be a bum because he lost a fight to a prime Castillo. Just like Pacquiao isn't a bum for losing to Morales and having close fights with Marquez.

    People need to move on.

    I'm a minority opinion on this subject....but I always thought the oscar fight was floyd's toughest and closes fight.....I had that one 115-113 for floyd...

    On castillo 1, I scored it for floyd 114-112...

    The last 50 seconds castillo landed apunch on floyds hip and an uppercut after the bell. meanwhile floyd landed atleast 7 hooks to his head and body. what were you waching

    Ive put detailed scorecards a few times before and came up with 115-111. Castillo rarely landed clean punches, lost the first 5 out of 6 and for the most part was ineffective as an aggressor. If I remember correctly (I'm trying to find my detailed write up as we "speak"), I gave Castillo a middle round (5 or 6, or something like that), two later rounds from 7-10, and round 12.

    Many are swayed by 2 things. 1) The scorecard of Lederman, who scores aggression in every fight no matter how ineffective, just like when he scored Molina-DLH for Molina. 2) Hatred of Mayweather, b/c that 0 gets so many people angry.

    Mayweather fought the champion, it was a rough and rugged bout, Mayweather was hurt, he dominated the first half, Castillo surged, and Mayweather stood his ground in the championship rounds to put it away. Good fight btw.
