What are your thoughts on Kessler?

    The guy has lost twice, on points, to Calzaghe and Ward, both at their peaks.

    Both Calzaghe and Ward have been among top3 p4p fighters, HOF caliber. Ward might even go beyond that.

    Kessler beat Froch who is one of the best fighters in the world and has beaten Pascal, Abraham, Bute, Dirrell among others.

    So is Kessler just a hyped up 2nd rate fighter or is he actually a quality fighter?

    He's quality. Came up short against Joe, was roughed up to high hell against Ward, and still managed to beat Froch whilst he was on the decline (that'll haunt froch forever that loss will).

    Quality fighter.

    He is a quality fighter, Ward will likely retire as a hall of famer and Joe Calzaghe is going to be in the hall of fame sometime in the future.

    I like Kessler's style a lot, he can box or brawl with anyone, never been in a boring fight IMO
    His fight with Froch was one of the best of 2010
    He's a A- fighter who lost to A+ fighters

    good fighter

    bossed calzaghe for 1st half of there fight and up until the blatant headbutts was well in the fight with ward

    IMO though a fight with froch in the UK would be a step too much for him, frochs record in britain is second to none
