What are your thoughts on Pac's win over a completely shot, competely drained Margo?

On par with his staggering win over Oscar?

Probably not, but it's got to be up there

Well Pacquiaos essentially a featherweight. And he went up to light middle and walked down the most badass fighter in the weight class.

He didn't even make the weight. He was 144 I recall when the weight limit was 150

His best weight class is featherweight. The guy could still make 135. Against Margarito he could have made 130.

I know this is an anti boxing_disaster thread but I'll bite. It is a great win by itself, obviously Margarito had been battered by Mosley not long before and tailor made in style but it's still a phenomenal achievement by a guy outsized like that. He put on a blistering bombardment of a show and almost broke the guy's eye socket off his damn head. Took some vicious shots in there too.

Pac looked so tiny. It looked like he took on a guy way too big for him, and I'm surprised he wasn't seriously injured. I heard his face looked like a swollen tomato and that he looked post-fight. Writhing in bed full of pain the next few days doesn't sound pleasant either.

I was impressed. Margarito was huuuuuuge. I think 165 fight night? Lol crazy.

Pacquiao was never the same caliber of fighter after the Margarito fight. It was his last vintage performance.

Margarito emptied Pacquiao's tank in that fight.

Not a great win by any means. After Margo was exposed as a cheat he never had another win of note.

It doesn't matter what his best weight class was that's irrelevant. He was not a flyweight in the ring
