    Why are fights that are short in length or don’t go the full distance not getting any love in this post?

    Great heavyweight fights that don't go the full distance/ are "short" in the last 10 years:

    Daniel Dubois vs Richard Lartey

    Alexander Povetkin vs David Price

    Agit Kabayel vs Agron Smakici

    Viktor Vykhryst vs Iago Kiladze

    Charles Martin vs Efe Ajagba

    Murad Khalidov vs Sergey Kuzmin

    The ref "saved" Fury from a knockdown, no one knows if Usyk would have knocked Fury out later in the round, especially because Fury has fantastic recovery. Also, the 10th–12th rounds of the fight make it fall into the classic category of fights. Ultimately the ref did make the wrong call; I will give you that.

    Also, Usyk isn't a middleweight. Uysk is a natural 200+ pound fighter.

    Oh yeah Povetkin Price was very entertaining I have re watched it a few times good shout lad.
    Another short one I enjoyed was Bakole v Anderson and Zhang v Joyce 2

    Reading and seeing all these HW fights pop back into my memory just shows why HW boxing is the best division by far in the sport.

    The ref saved Belly from a KO loss not a KD. Belly can have the best recovery ever he was completely gone and a clean punch or 2 away from being KTFO

    By rights the ref should've stopped it then and had he not dived in Usyk was about to crack him while he was a sitting duck trapped on the ropes in range and completely defencless by that point

    Belly had already been knocked down numerous times if we're going by the rule the ropes kept him up which is why the ref dived in when he did

    As a long time fan I love watching the other divisions for the skill level but there is something exciting about heavyweight fights even when it is lower skill level you just know something explosive can happen at any time.
