What are your views on Amir Khan?

Well that's precisely my point, those expectations were from a long time ago ~8 years. He also been on the other of the exception spectrum.

And regarding him fighting Mayweather after he was world champ...I don't if you have ever been around professional boxers, they are usually full of self-belief almost to a point of being slightly delusional. Its just that Khan expresses it out loud in my opinion.

 

He's a decent fighter who, thanks to the media and mainstream television sucking his knob for five years, thinks he's the best in the world.

He's the best of the 3rd tier Lightweight/Lightwelterweight/Welterweight's but a good step behind the 1st and 2nd tier fighters in those divisions. He's not even the best in Britain, I'd expect Brooke and Burns to wipe the floor with him.
