What impresses me is the fact that he seems to be finding a way to win even though he's up against the odds - behind big time.

He really does need to get going quicker though or he will be caught out. The fact he doesn't, might have more to do with his opponents freshness in the early rounds though.

    chin, power, stamina, and speed

Good solid chin and powers pretty good, great stamina, not got much speed. Over all he's a good fighter who can get to the top because of his heart and determination.

    Chin - A

He was floored and wobbled but at no times did he ever look as if he was really hurt. His eyes were nice and clear and he was aware at all times.

    Power - B+

He's heavy handed but doesn't have the speed to really maximize his power. If he had fast hands he'd be a real killer. Lack of speed is what separates him from the likes of a Tommy Hearns.

    Speed - C

He has very average speed for a world class fighter.

    Stamina - A

Can maintain a high workrate and carry his power late into a fight. That makes him pretty dangerous.

I thought it was a helluva comeback. I was shouting at the telly in round 12.! Well done Carl! :good

You are so ****ed up on several levels you don't evn know.

1/ Burnley Blue is from another county and would certaliny not appreciate being called a Yorkshireman...

2/ Burnley Blue was a decent pro boxer who I suspect you wouldn'nt gob off to his face

3/ If my aunty had bollocks she would be my uncle

4/ Taylor looked very hurt when he hit the deck for the final time

We learned a lot about Froch tonight... were it not for the KO...there would be some very different discussions on these boards... fair play to him though. Would love to see him in a good tear up with Kessler...though I reckon Kessler will maul him.

Froch still has a great chin. He was caught off balance, we not really hurt for the punch, you could tell by his eyes.

Carls plus points are he has a big heart, good chin, decent stamina. His minus points are he has hands and feet slower than the dead,no defence infact no fundamental boxing skills at all, telegraphs everything he does and I mean everything, overated power.
He won't be champion for long.
