What Billy Nelson know's about boxing you could write on the back of a stamp! Bakole world level???

Billy has done nothing wrong.

Backed his man and got people talking about and watching his fight- it's his job as his trainer and manager.

Stopped his fighter quitting to easily with 2 rounds to go, on his first big headline fight live on tv. Told him to use his jab instead and he actually did not bad with the jab in the 9th. Billy knew if he quit people would never have let him forget it.

The biggest issue was that the cameras seen what Billy was saying, and I'm sure there is stuff like that said in corners every week.

People on twitter etc genuinely believe Billy did that to "save his one face" cause he's hyped Martin so much, he did it as much for Martin to stop him embarrassing himself.

 

Bakole was embarrassing himself and Billy - Billy looked actually shocked at the end of some rounds and was heard asking Bakole WTF was going on long before Bakole pulled the injury excuse out of the bag.

 

I have just watched the fight.....WTF

Yeah, but still don't understand all the abuse billys getting

 

He told people Bakole was the next coming and it was inevitable that such a poor performance would result in some stick.

Bakole last night looked more Gary Cornish and Dave Allen level than Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder.

 

Threads like these are the reason why people who work within the industry no longer post here.

Every mistake they make , no matter how minor is ruthlessly picked apart by some armchair keyboard warrior.

How many people on here giving Billy abuse have actually trained a world champion ? Let me hazard a guess ZERO.

Good guess considering statistics inform us less than 0.000000000000000001% of the population train boxers

 

Billy has backed him to high heaven o n social media, but to be fair a lot of people in the industry boxers trainers etc have only said good things about Bakole.

couple of boxers on Twitter can't believe he lost and are saying it looks like a case of the bright lights and the pressure got to him and used past examples of boxers looking a million dollars in sparring but performing nothing like that when it matters.

Yet , it's those with 0.0000000001 % of the knowledge that are ridiculing a man with talent , skills , ability and ACTUAL success that 99.999999999% never attain.

Robert Helenius is supposed to be a very very scary man in sparring who gives everyone a headache.

On fight night though it's not there.

Bakole may be a similar case?

If so not much Billy can do. Some guys just freeze in front of the big crowd, anxiety creeps in etc

 

Billy might not be wrong about Martin, you do not get invited to AJ's camp for world title preparations and spar 80 rounds if your'e simply 'not very good'.

It looked to me like Martin bottled it on the night, as if the pressure, occasion and expectations were all to much for him and after the point's deficit was too much to turn round he mentally gave up. For all we know he could have had an injury going into the fight. No doubt he is a big, strong hunter killer type heavyweight he just came up against a better boxer on the night and had no answers. Ultimately it comes down to bad matchmaking. Somewhere along the line they must have looked at Martins qualities and what Hunter is good at and decided it was a gimme. They were badly wrong.

 

It doesn’t work that way.

Just because Billy Nelson is a boxing coach DOES NOT mean he has better knowledge than every person who is not a boxing coach.

Billy Nelson is deserving of this stick. He shouldn’t of said that Bakole is good enough to fight any heavyweight in the world, he’s ether lying about that or he has terrible boxing knowledge.

Unless you agree with billy and his opinion, which is better than 99.99999% of people, that Bakole is world class?

He isn’t even British Level. He would be 50/50 vs Dave Allen, David price, Dubois, etc.
