True, but his freakishly long arms is a big disadvantage in bench pressing. For this reason Lennox 10x140kg is pretty sick.

    What's your source for that?
That much takes dedication for bench pressing/heavy lifting.
Being a great athlete is not enough.

He might of used. They were available.

As a one Rep Max getting twice your body weight one time for a little guy is easier than for a big guy. I put up 255 at a body weight of 125 and Mosley maxing at 320-360 is easy for me to imagine. But that is for real weight lifters not boxers. Rahman is the strongest man I have ever seen work out in real life . He was repping over 450 pounds. Trains like a powerlifter.

Wlad is big, but not buying the 440lbx4 with those long arms.
Not buying 440x1. I might believe 400lbs. touch, and go.
Gotta see video to believe such wild claims.
Not saying you didn't here this, but I dispute it as truth as having seen many top tier power lifters with short arms struggle to do the same.
David Haye with his shorter arms can likely bench as much as Wlad.
I don't doubt Haye has done 405 for a single.
I also don't doubt Wlad unrack 440, and did 4 partial reps.
I see this partial rep phenomenon in the gym regularly, and the lifters usually proceed to say that benched whatever huge number while moving the weight through a shorter range of motion.

Benching does not mean punching power, Alex Gustafsson can bench 240lbs at most and he's considered a huge striker in MMA.

Nope, a big bench doesn't mean power, but if you already have good technique benching alot will add more power

Im pretty sure shane never naturally weighed 135 lol so really it would be a 150+ guy benching 315... still impressive though, ofcourse. But as somebody above says, alot of these numbers are here-say and are they full range benches? Alot of guys only go to parallel while others touch bar to chest... the differences make a big difference to the number you can lift.
