Stocky guys usually can bench the most. I bet Stevens, Provo, Gamboa, Manchnu, and Porter can bench quite a bit.

    * Rahman never hit anywhere near 500, said so himself

*Tyson supposedly hit 245 for 10 on the incline at 14, believable

*Briggs claimed 315 for 32 reps on a radio interview a few years back, B.S. he can't count that high

*Wlad hitting 440 for a few reps is certainly possible,

*Correct answer already given- Leif Larsen 670 raw and official

There is far more to benching than arm length. If you know how to use your lats and get leg drive(yes, leg drive) along with just having an instinct for hitting YOUR optimum bar path one can elevate big weights.

I would guess Mormeck would bench a lot. So would Joshua.

No it won't, benching teaches poor scapular mechanics and the majority of the power is developed further down the kinetic chain. It would be more interesting to know what they can squat or power clean.

How is pressing overhead any more a strength test than benching?

Were they meant to be doing an overhead press or a push press? I can't believe that some couldn't get it up doing a push press.

    Forgot all about Leif Larsen.

Although I doubt he could crack as hard as someone like Wilder, or Wlad at Heavyweight.

Rep? How many? most 500 lb benchers would need to get at least 4 clean reps with 450 for a relevant inroad %. I guess it is possible for Rahmen, certainly not out of the question.

Especially during between fight training cycles when they are using more gear.

What the **** is the point if you are doing one rep

At my best I was doing 10 reps of 120kg a day

I could have done 1 rep of much more I'm sure,

Anyway, benching can be done by anyone who puts the gym time in
