Even after the Ward losses I thought he would reign with ease. The Eleider KO was a real shock to me.

He did avenge that loss by outboxing Eleider in the rematch. And he looked decent when he stopped Yarde. That would be the last remnants of whatever the Krusher had left before getting crushed by Canelo the next fight after.

It would have been nice to see Kovalev dominate just a little bit longer. He could have ended up fighting Adonis Stevenson, Oleksandr Gvozdyk, Dmitry Bivol, and Artur Beterbiev had he got the Ward decision the first time.

After suffering one of the worst robberies ever, he realised he would always be at the mercy of the judges and ref. Boxing is almost as rigged as mma and wrasslin.

No love for the Golden Boy on this thread? ODLH looked like he had it all as he was coming up.

I thought about it, but I remember him coming close vs Whitaker and Quartey and thinking Trinidad just might be able to beat them if they met.

Tyson and Roy. In my mind, in the early years it was easy to invision Tyson going 50-0. I did read an article though, saying that Douglas trainer said that James was so talented that if he ever put it all together for one night, that he can defeat anybody, including Tyson. Soon after the fight was signed and the rest is history. As for Roy, he was almost super human, but he seemed reluctant to fight Michalczewski, who i thought had a decent chance. Never happend.

I’m not fan of Money, but you didn’t, “name a few”. Those are the only two fights you can reasonably argue he lost; Castillo 1 and Maidana 1. And in all fairness to Floyd, he granted immediate rematches and won both fights more convincingly.

Biggest mistake of his life was to go back down to light heavy. Imagine if Roy retired after Ruiz or fought Holyfield and beat him also, Roy would forever be known as the best ever! But, instead he cut too much weight and got destroyed and made ppl forget how good he once was…

Second is obviously Mike Tyson, very few have been as scary as prime Tyson and created as big of a buzz worldwide like he did. Ppl that didn’t even follow boxing knew when Tyson had a fight coming up.

He might have the most amount of controversial losses for a big money A-side ever too.

A guy who DID get beat early in his career....was half a second away from being counted out....then one punch away from a potential KO after being decked by one of the worst champions of recent times in subsequent fights....yet you consider Fury to be invincible???

Utter bollocks and you know it

I was 12 when Tyson lost. I thought he was invincible. After the first few rounds when I realized he was losing, I was shocked at what was going on.
