Ricky Hatton, 2005 vs Kostya Tszyu. I was only 15 though, only watched Hatton fights up til Lazcano tbh. Started getting into it more seriously after that, now I consider myself a proper fan of boxing, although my knowledge is still shite compared to many people on here.

I go way back. Cassius Clay, with his mouth and the way he backed up everything he said, made me a boxing fan. Nobody really hyped a fight the way he did.

Rocky Balboa.......like any lad in the 80's. Then the first proper fighter i latched onto was Terry Marsh, then LLoyd Honeyghan. First one on a international level was Marvin Hagler........the 80's did'nt seem like it at the time but it was a classic era......probably say the same about now in 10-15 yrs

Benn-McClellan was the fight that first got me into the sport but i'd say the Naz era was the biggest influence on me. Entertainment, ring entrances and one punch ko power in both hands i couldn't get enough of it

Naz when he was on ITV , pure entertainment value for a 8 year old boy like myself.

Had a pair of gloves and a inflatable ninja turtle punch bag when i was a toddler. Remember my dad showing me old tapes of fights such as Bramble-Mancini etc and me watching Tyson and telling my dad i wanna be a boxer but not a heavyweight. The ring entrances and the buzz from the crowd got through to me from the tv and i always dreamt of being a fighter and boxing at MSG and being a world champion,

Sadly it wasn't meant to be. Lost love for the sport in my early teens because of few things in my boxing days but this sport is a drug and a hard one habit to lose and i slowly came to my senses and got back into my boxing and watching as much and reading as much as i can.

When Warren came back to ITV with Khan. And I remember the build up to Hatton-Tszyu and really wanted Hatton to win.

Before that I had watched Audley on the Beeb. In fact the first pro fight I can remember watching live was Audley's pro debut.
