Barring the usual ones....i think povetkins style would give wilder problems. Povetkins very good at getting inside. Thats the biggest problem facing wilders opponents getting inside on him. I think povetkins got the skill to do it....its weather hes got the legs/punch resistance etc nowadays for it. He,d have a great shot tho.

With the exception of Tyson Fury who already beat Wilder. The following are in with a good shot of beating Wilder:

    Anthony Joshua
    Andy Ruiz
    Oleksander Usyk
    Filipe Hrgovic
    Daniel Dubois
    Joseph Parker

LOL glass chinned AJ...............he is getting slept this coming weekend......Wilder would be arrested for man slaughter.

Ruiz .....too tough for his own good, eats too many shots to land his own.....not a chance

Usyk........never fought a heavy with a pulse and the corpse he faced marked him......plus C level Bellew landed plenty of shots on him until he gassed............if a career skilled lefty heavy with a ton of amateur skills at 6'3/235 pounds cannot get it done usyk will be carried out on stretcher......

The silent agreement parker who has one of the worst foot work has no fire in the belly and surrendered his belt to the stiff Bodybuilder without much fuss......he will be in survival mode from the get go............and if you cannot get by walking Heavybag Whyte you goose is cooked....

The other two ones are a joke at this time of the game......

I throw in Whyte..............his load mouth eventually will get a shot to be shown as a High light reel face down KO..........he is tailor made, you cannot miss him with the right even if you tried.

Wilder takes his time analyzing an opponent's style before he engages seriously. The more complex and unpredictable the style the longer he takes. But against Josh , I think he will figure him out by the second round if he hasn't easily done so already before the fight even starts.

Andy Ruiz and Tyson Fury are the only ones I am familiar with that I can see having a chance.

You try to miss his face and it looms up to meet the fist?

    Quite a few

    Joshua
    Ruiz Jr
    Hrgovic
    Parker
    Usyk

And in a year from now 1-2 more up and comers.

And Wilder's chin isn't suspect? He fought one guy who can bag and hit him solid, and he barely escaped a KO loss. And that guy was old and slow.

AJ's chin is far more tested vs punchers. He got up from a bomb by Wlad and took plenty from Ruiz until it ended.

Whyte wouldn't see the 2nd round.
AJ gets KO'd cold in 3.
Fury gets taken out in 5 in the rematch.
Dubois has beat who exactly? Bakole is more proven.
Hrgovic has beat who exactly? Ajagba is more proven.
Bakole and Ajagba both get sparked out.
Kownacki would be beaten into the hospital.
Parker would be even more tentative with Wilder than he was with AJ.
    Povetkin would get immolated.
Hunter oddly enough might have a very slight chance.
Ruiz possibly beats him by UD, but would get robbed.
Usyk UD's him so widely they wouldn't be able to rob him.

That being said, Ruiz, Hunter and Usyk could easily be knocked unconscious as well.

Beating Wilder's easier said than done.

Fury, but he can’t get careless.

    Wilder-Ruiz would be interesting.

Wilder would eventually land on AJ’s chin and that would be worse for him the later the fight carries into rounds.

How great would it be if somehow they both cleaned out heavyweight and were the two last men standing. Then they got it on again.

    Wilder hits harder than Joshua.

If Joshua has a suspect chin then there are obvious concerns about him fighting Wilder.

They’ve got the skills to do it....OU by SD this time more leather gets exchanged. Usyk pulls away in the championship rounds while dead even at the end of the 10th.
