Who is the best at demolishing their opponents in spectacular fashion after being beaten, whooped or KO’d in the previous fight?

Zoomy had the knack of improving big time in rematches against guys who'd beaten him or caused him problems at the first time of asking.

Ali. Frazier, Norton & Spinks avenged losses. Cooper, Chuvalo & Quarry beaten even more decisively after a difficult first fight.

If we're talking about "demolishing" opponents (who had previously crushed you) in return fights - then Hank Hankinson is the only world ranked (The Ring top-10) fighter I can think of, who avenged ko defeats against 5 different opponents with ko wins:

    Bill Eck, L KO2 >> W KO2, W KO2
    Jack Gerry, L KO2 >> W KO2
    Jack Scott, L KO1 >> W KO1
    Ed Mosebar, L KO1 >> W TKO 2
    Fred Feary L KO4 >> W KO1

Emile Griffith was no slouch. *The thread question was originally just "king of rematches", right? Then on the first page, it was qualified as "who won rematches in devastating fashion" or so....not exactly the same thing.

I remember back in the day International or World Boxing doing a piece calling Koichi Wajima the king of the rematch. Their evidence was thus:

    Tetsuo Hoshino - KO5, KO2
    George Carter - L10, W10
    Miguel DeOliviera - Draw15, W15
    Oscar Albarado - KOby15, W15
    Jae Do Yuh - KOby7, KO15

This piece was done right after he regained his title from Yuh. But even though he was later beaten by Jose Duran and Eddie Gazo, he held true to form as he never received a rematch from either. So he bettered the result in every rematch.

Before Wilder III, Fury was up there.

Vs McDermot, Chisora and Wilder he showed massive improvement in the rematch

Tarver beat Jones, Harding, and Johnson in rematches. Dawson eventually got him but he was pushing forty by then.

Jimmy Mclarnin fared pretty well in rematches. He bested Sammy Mandell, Tony Conzoneri, Ray Miller, Billy Petrolle in rematches and then bounced back against Ross winning the rematch before dropping the 3rd fight of the trilogy. Underrated fighter

I closely followed and cheered for Koichi Wajima. I loved how he won his rematches,,in a way like Gianfranco Rosi did.
