Walcott beat him 6-3-1 hardly a rout!

And you're positive he couldn't hang with 1951 Louis?

On the contrary I KNOW Baker was bigger than Louis in 1951
AND NOW I'LL PROVE IT !!!!
    Louis' fights in1951
    210 1/4 lbs v Brion
    209 lbs v Agramonte
    207lbs v Walker
    211/1/4 lbs vSavold
    2071/2lbs v Brion
    203lbs v Bivins
    213 3/4lbs v Marciano
Heaviest in 1951 213.3/4 lbs in his last fight.
    Lightest in1951 203lbs
Average weight for Louis that year = 208 .82lbs

The career heaviest he ever scaled was 218lbs, against Charles when he made his comeback after 2 years out of the ring.
Louis was Six Feet One and a Half inches tall.

    Baker's fights in1951
    224lbs v Bryant
    216 1/2lbs v Brothers
    224lbs v Agramonte
    225lbs v Agramonte
    216lbs v Hall
    223.3/4lbs v Bivins
    215 lbs v Riviera
    212lbs v Henry
    Lightest in1951 212lbs
    Heaviest in1951 225lbs
Average weight for Baker that year=219.53lbs
Baker was Six Feet Two inches tall,

No stats for Valdes because he did not fight in1951.
Now, got anymore smart remarks to say to me?

you’re splitting hairs. LOL both listed at 6’2

That was nonsense you posted above. Let’s check Baker’s weights for his most important fights and title eliminators

    212lb vs Clarence Henry
    214lb vs Bob Satterfield
    211lb vs Clarence Henry
    227lb vs Nino Valdes I
    209lb Vs Archie Moore
213lb vs Nino Valdes II (Title Eliminater)
211lb Vs John Holman (Title Eliminater)
213 1/2lb vs Hurricane Jackson II (Title Eliminater)

do you not see how ridiculous you sound?

    arguing 201lb vs 200lb

arguing baker bigger than Louis because he showed up a few times at a doughy 225lb in non important fights vs 210lb in his most important title eliminator fights

Baksi never fought Louis ,and Louis in1947 was a totally different proposition to the Louis of 1951! Galento was a lumbering crude puncher so was Buddy Baer, both dropped Louis. These links are irrelevant and TBH its rather silly posting them.

I'm satisfied Baker was a bigger man than Louis in1951 and what's more, I proved it!
You made the 1951 stipulation not me.
Don't tell me, you're going to alter your original post! lol

For a guy who prides himself on his knowledge of the 40's and 50's heavies,Im surprised you don't know Louis' actual height, if you want a definitive source I recommend Joe Louis My Life, by guess who?

LOL you proved nothing and everyone knows it.

Bob baker and a 1950s Louis were both 6’2 averaging 210-215lb. Same size. You’re the only one whose oblivious to it, and you’re revisionist history is growing tiresome
