What boxers lose by signing with Zuffa Boxing

Haha, it’s hilarious to me that some dork in his mom’s basement thinks he knows better than the boxers that sign with Zuffa.

If Dana and Zuffa was as bad as you guys say/think none would sign with them.

The UFC has been crap for years now.

 

UFC has progressively got more and more lane like some corporate communist entity. They haven’t really produced any new stars in years.

 

Their souls. At this stage in the game these fighters will be compensated very highly but they are selling out future generations to make a quick buck. They are hurting their fellow fighters more then their fists ever could.

 

It actually isn't. There was a time it was that was a very long time ago. Now the UFC can rely on its brand to make sure the seals clap no matter what. They decide who the best are and the seals clap. Its a circle. If the UFC doesn't sign a certain elite fighter the blame is put on that elite "for not fighting in the big leagues". It is never their fault. They control their fans minds because they control who fights who and the information fans use to develop their opinions.

 

It's odd people actually think boxers make any of these decisions as 'free affleets' on the market.
They're not smart enough to decide even the most basic things.
It's their managers and promoters who do all the thinking for them.
The best model would be a state-owned system where they are forced to fight the best and in return are kept in compounds and housed/fed etc. until they retire, at which point they have to get real jobs.
This would stop them ducking and also stop them making obscene money they don't deserve. And it would stop scum managers/promoters of any kind from getting rich.
Finally Communism has a use.

 

“The best fight the best” doesn’t even happen in ufc, never mind as MMA the actual sport.
When they have the main promotion they cane put PR out which makes ppl believe anything

 

The UFC having just 1 belt is basically a lie too they've had 25 interim belts since 2003. In a mere 8 divisions. Over 1 a year. Those belts were created because the best aren't actually fighting the best as often as they claim. And of course they made a "baddest mother****er belt" for popular fighters who don't deserve a title shot.

But the seals will clap.

I can see whites sideshow developing into something like the minor leagues for boxing where the promoters make more then the people putting their lives on the line. In ten years all the kids out there watching his sideshow will learn the true definition of a “shopworn fighter”. It’s gonna be bad, really really bad for the journeymen out there. Hopefully they learn quickly that they are bound to white and they should all come to the fight with that unwritten agreement “I won’t hurt you If you don’t hurt me”

 

They are willing to fight the best because that is how they make more money.
In boxing, as it is today, everybody 'protects the 0." You have guys turning pro asking for easy fights- every new fighter expects to be protected until he can command more money. Every one of them. They ask for easy sparring.
If you doubt that, go talk to local promoters that are trying to put on shows, the shows that have traditionally been the foundation of boxing.

 

The existing structure allows that. There are belts for everyone.

 

Ppl want easy first few fights as they are learning development fights. The bbbc are part of this too.
Building a fighter is building a business. The fighter is the business operating in the boxing industry

in ufc they don’t need to build fighters as they are employees to the business of ufc operating in the mma industry. UFC is the business, not the fighter.

with regards easy sparring? Not heard that but then there are some pansies out there
