Hi everyone, I made this account because I wanted to ask this question.

What boxing gloves should I be looking at buying for bag work? I live in the UK and was going to go with the 'Ringside IMF Tech Super Bag Gloves' but the shipping fee comes to £35 which is nearly more than the glove itself.

Anyone know any places in the UK that sell good boxing bag gloves?

http://www.geezersboxing.co.uk/ - I heard they are a great retailer. Looking at their shipping cost for gloves to the USA, I almost **** a brick. Gloves were roughly $50, standard shipping(the only shipping) was $150.

Such a shame cause they have great stuff there.

As for what gloves to buy, just get a cheap pair around 25-50 pounds.

Go to the Boxing Training/Sparring section, look for 16 oz. since they protect your hands the most while getting started.

Thanks for the reply pal. What ones would you buy for bag work? I don't really know what gloves are good in terms of durability and protection (the reason I was looking at Ringside).

$150 for shipping to USA. That's alot more expensive than America to England, kind of glad as it makes the shipping from USA to England look minuscule.

I like those, never used Adidas but considering trying them next.

Those are the gloves I use for all-around training (heavy, sparring, mitts) They are cheap, easy to find in stores but the leather on the outside has ripped off on both pairs with the velcro strap on this pair being a POS since its been ripping only a month after getting them. I've been able to make them last even in the bad shape they are.

I have a pair very similar to this, different color scheme. I save these for sparring at other gyms.

I'm not from UK but I've been buying from RDX, so far great quality and the prices are way lower than other boxing gloves you can get in here (Adidas, Title, Hayabusa, Triumph United). They do free shipping so I recomend those for you (I've only tried leather, I don't know the quality of syntethic)

The last pair I got were made by ergo, only down the road from me in Liverpool go with 12/14oz depending on how hard you punch. Stay away from the cheap £20 won't last you more than 1 month.

Some great gloves you could get are the Fortis Elite boxing gloves, they're made of genuine leather so they are very durable and they offer great protection for your knuckles and wrisits. You can buy them from Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B072MBC67X

I can give anyone anyone who wants to buy the gloves a 50% discount, just send me a private message.

I am from UK and I would like to buy boxing gloves from https://www.aqfsports.com/ as they are having very low price. They have all sorts of boxing equipment’s such as punching bags, speed bags and double end bag.
