On a personal note...De La Hoya.

Ali was the first name that came to mind though.

The saddest for me was Gerald Mclellan.........that guy was a monster in the ring and to watch him go down the way he did was sad.

and by the way, I dont think it was a punch that did him in, it was the head butt that did the damage. as soon as he got hit with that head butt he started blinking and acting weird.

Tyson. At least ODLH to lost to the p4p #1, Tyson quit against freakin McBride...and sad part is, he could have beat McBride had he tried harder.

What about Meldrick Taylor? He's probably not a legend but the way his career spiraled downward after his loss to Chavez is sad. The way he kept on fighting when his speech was punchy.

And Morales is probably going to fight again. He's trying to set up a date possibly with JMM. That would be a sad sight.

RJ isn't that bad because most expected him to lose the way he did.

DLH is another story. He was picking on a smaller guy and he was supposed to win. He quit on his stool. At least RJ went out on his shield.

are you guys serious? if jones hangs about like he promises to then it could get REALLY bad, calzaghe is a blessing compared to if..say...he fought anderson silva as he says, or heaven forbid, by some travesty, actually lost to him.

"and by the way, I dont think it was a punch that did him in, it was the head butt that did the damage. as soon as he got hit with that head butt he started blinking and acting weird."

he was having serious problems during and after the jackson fights... getting smacked by nigel benn didnt do it any favours.

Barreras career ended pretty ****ing disgracefully if you ask me

Morales vs. PAC III was a sad night... one of the best fighters of all times in canvas watching his corner and saying no more!!...
when he always go to the end in every fight with a lot of heart like a real Mexican Warrior
