holyfield.. i mean this guy should have retired years ago so watching him get beat by younger heavyweights is just sad to see. Somebody tell this guy to retire and stay retired.

My pick is George Foreman. Ol George had two boxing careers. The way his first boxing career came to an end, saddened me to tears, literally. George Foreman.

gerald mcclellan. brain damage, deaf, blind, dementia, cant walk, doesnt even really know what happened to him. that there is the definition of tragedy.
also chico being beaten badly, then dying a month later. i honestly believe clottey took everything he had left from him.

He should be. I know its not for me to say but he is finished. We hear about Ali, Tyson, Louis etc all the time when this question pops up but its the Gatti's and the McCullough's of the game that really get to me.

    Warriors.

Iran Barkley is a sad story, because he was always limited, but fighting as a heavyweight, he was way out of his league. He took hellufied beatings because he was broke.

Mattew Saad Muhamed faded fast and got old overnight. He still had a great chin, but had no reflexes or speed and took terrible beatings every fight after the Qawi fight.

I hated seeing Mike Tysons skills get eroded and the pictures in my mind from the late 80's going into the 90's of a young ambitious animal stalking his prey dramatically, it just was so sad to watch the whole story unfold right in front of my eyes.. Mike was like from rags to riches to tragedy , to notoriety to oblivion... It in many ways reflected LISTONS STORY .. only Sonny never really got the Idillic treatment that Mike did, and Michael isn't dead yet, maybee him being so humbled now saved him... He actually seems a little more contented now... I hope he is, i think the movie helped him to get some things off his chest.....

Mike Tyson is worst than Ali . . . comparing their last two fights.

Ali's corner threw in the towel in his second to the last fight against Holmes . . . then lost via UD in his last fight.

Tyson got counted out in round four in his second to the last fight against Williams . . . then quit on his tool at the end of 6th round against McBride in his last fight. :deal

    :D

Mike Tyson...What a terrible way to end such a great career.
    Muhammed Ali.
And the way Gatti went out,was harsh to watch.
    The list is long...And sad.
