Lacy vs Calzaghe. Calzaghe had a litany of poor performances before this fight and Lacy on the night had a brain meltdown in he had no plan. He failed to jab and was hanging on the one punch KO and he got a real beat down

I was arguing Arce would beat Darchinyan as Darchinyan would be pig headed and refuse to stick to a game plan and just go for the KO. Jeff Fenech had fits trying to train Darchinyan as Darchinyan would just ignore him. Darchinyan was a crash waiting to happen

This year it was Castillo over Hatton.

But only because i thought Castillo wasnt that far gone and thought he wasnt as shot as we soon found out.

I thought if the fight goes the distance which i honestly thought it would that Castillo would win on the cards. But after seeing the first 2 rounds i was like Castillo is shot to hell.

Its so true i remember watching the Mitchell vs Tszyu fight and Emmanuel Steward who knows his **** was saying Sharmba is going to be to good for a out of the ring 2 years Tszyu.

Mitchell will win pretty easy i remember him saying all because Tszyu was as active as Mitchell had been and just would struggle with Mitchells speed etc etc.

Tszyu blew Mitchell away in 3 rounds.

You can never know for certain.

Liakhovich-Brewster...I didn't think Brewster was the Second Coming or anything but Liakhovich seemed to have nothing to make me think he'd win.

Before that, Brewster-Golota. After the displays against Byrd and Ruiz, and Brewster's weak showing against Meehan, I thought it was finally Golota's big chance.

And Tyson-McBride. I really though Mike would bulldoze him.

I was sure that Tarver would kick Hopkins ass. But he did not.

I picked Judah over Cotto, as Cotto had never faced someone of Judah's caliber before. But in hindsight I should have watched Judah-Baldomir first ( I watched it recently), that fight showed that if you can hurt Judah you can bully him around for the rest of the fight, and make him a defensive fighter instead of an offensive fighter.
