I have been wanted to create this thread for quite some time...And the problem I was having is labeling a Fighter "C LEVEL" is all based on opinion.

What I may see as a "C LEVEL" fighter...others may hold in a much higher view...and vice versa.

So as of now...I can only think of two "C LEVEL" fighters with an impressive resume:

    This content is protected

    SHARMBA MITCHELL
    Kostya Tzsyu twice
    Paul Williams
    Floyd Mayweather
    Lovemore N'dou
    Ben Tackie

    This content is protected

    VINCE PHILLPS
    Ricky Hatton
    Vernon Forrest
    Micky Ward
    Kosta Tzsyu
    Ike Quartey

I really wanted to put Emmanuel Augustus...Because if you look at "only" his record...you would assume C or Possibly D Level Fighter...But I hold Augustus in an entirely diffrent Catergory.

Alright...Give some good names...Because I know I missed some solid fighters.

I dont consider losing most or all your biggest fights having an impressive resume but maybe i have higher standards than the thread starter.

C level fighters are fighters that dont have the ability to win a world title. B level are those that can win a world title but arent dominant and lose it after a deffense or two. A level is everything above.

Joe Calzaghe has the best resume among C-Level fighters. But he's more of a D+ Level fighter.

I would amend C level to be defined as those who shouldn't have the ability to win a world title.

My earlier nomination, Carlos Baldomir exemplifies this. He shouldn't have won a world title given his ability. Yet, he did.

I cant call Baldomir a B level boxer when I watch him fight, its an insult to the many B level fighters who are actually skilled and fast

Vince Phillps and Sharmba Mitchell are not "C Level" fighters at their best. They were both B- level fighters.
