What do y'all think Uncle Al can do to beat Eddie Hearn's $1 Billion US deal? Al's always quiet but he must have something up his sleeve

Haymon is never very vocal he always works in the shadows, like Batman or Hayman, lol.

Haymon may not technically be a promoter but he does have a lot of US talent signed to him and he controls their careers with a iron grip they cannot do anything without his approval including signing for Hearn. Haymon has to approve any promoter his fighters sign with so he could easily prevent a lot of fighters signing with Hearn.

But I doubt he'd do that even if Hearn signs a bunch of Haymon fighters there is no guarantee Haymon will allow the type of risky/competitive match making Hearn is known for. Haymon will happily sign his fighters over to Hearn for a cut of that DAZN money but prevent his fighters from taking risks and ensure titles stay with his fighters.

Haymons not about bragging rights, he's about maximizing the income of Al Haymon while minimizing the risk to his personal finances. That's what PBC is. Taking other people's money to make fights, then taking a managers cut off each purse. It didn't matter if it was profitable because he wasn't the owner.

My guess is he has no interest in topping or even competing with Hearn because it's a completely different business model as far as how each man gets paid.

Most of Haymon's Fighters are Showtime Invested Fighters.Hearn wont be getting any of them, well not Thurman, Spence, Broner, Wilder, Tank and the Charlo Brothers.Haymon priorities lie with Showtime given he's burned bridges with HBO-So i dont really understand how Hearn will nab these fighters-African Americans also are not the most "welcoming type of people" to be honest, so when they see a Englishman like Eddie Hearn coming upto them holding a cheque....Deontay Wilder and his "white man milking comments" come to mind...Good luck Eddie, make sure you dont get shot, it's a different type of life in the US as Mayweather's Bodyguard found out...

Top Hearns? LOL. Hearns is a clown. Al Haymon does not even have to get out of bed in the morning to be better than Eddie Hearns.

Tie fighters to long term contracts. Other than that, nothing he can do.

I see him working with Hearn, not going full throttle against him. That 1 billion dollars buys you a lot of power in boxing, as fighters care about money, just like the rest of us.

No doubt. DAZN is another platform he can get his fighters on.
