What can be done to prevent incompetent judges like Lisa Giampa working major fights?

Women judges suck, always have.

 

Why are people so naive that they think the judges are incompetent?

Do you actually believe Lisa Giampa thought that was a draw? There is huge money to be made by betting on boxing. Someone paid her a lot of money to create the MD with her 114-114 card, then she and her "employers" bet tons of money on the MD.

You're extremely naive if you think that Lisa Giampa just happened to be the only person on earth who didn't have Loma winning (including Gary Russell). Same goes for the FLoyd-Canelo fight.

 

This is just another BIASED RANT AGAINST BLIND JUDGES.

 

Too bad we don't rank judges the way we rank fighters. Maybe if they lost points depending on how different their scores were than the other two judges we could see who the most consistent and inconsistent judges were, and the worst ones would lose their license to judge.

Boxe is THE corruption sport.

 

Tom Mishou, the former head Commissioner for Georgia Boxing tried this. He set up a computer ranking system, and the top 5 referees/ judges would get the big billed fights in GA.

Then the lower-ranked refs/ judges pretty much went on a mutiny & Mishou was replaced.

 

its not that bad and its one fight. she was a few rounds off. i had it 116-112 mainly cause loma didn't do anything in a couple rounds.

Use 5 judges. Trow out the two abberant scores.

I would take it a step further. Since fights are scored round by round, then award a fighter a round if he gets the majority votes for that round. This would minimize the impact of a single blind, bought judge.

 

There needs to be a federal boxing commission and an investigation into boxing...............Lisa Giampa should never be allowed to judges another fight and the same goes for Laurence Cole as a referee, Cole is the worst referee in boxing today..............

I also think there should be a huge petition sent to Sen. McCain, as he was interested in a federal boxing commission years ago. There has been an FBI investigation into boxing before...............
