PPV has killed boxing, in Britain Eubank v Benn in 1993 drew 15 million viewers there were only four channels to choose from and no internet in peoples homes, now fans have to pay £20.00 per fight, what can be done to make fighters house hold names in the same way fighters like M.Tyson and Ray Leonard were?

Have less belts, have fighters fight the best, charge less for fights...
Not an expert but these things could help.
I don’t think will ever get to the golden age of boxing unless something drastic happens.

Make PBC belts for every division, because there aren't enough belts yet, and the others are too inclusive as anyone can compete for them.

First of all get rid of all the belts and stuff. Make a new official ranking system which forces boxers to actually face each other. No more cans bums or truck/taxi drivers. People are sick of it. How can you demand to make money from a fight like Wilder vs Liakhovich or Haye vs De Mori or Pulev vs Booker. And there are 1 billion more examples of this. People should pay less, and should be available everywhere. Many countries don't have access to the PPV. More tournaments, remove 3 4 divisions maybe. Judging rules should be changed too. It's unfair to have a fight in GB and the judge and the referee to be from GB. That is only in boxing and it is super lame.
