What can U tell about a fighter watching him spar?

    The only problem I find with conditioning in terms of sparring is that it doesn't quite get the nervous aspect of actually being under the lights. Jermain Taylor is the best example of this that I can find. Always in great shape, but he had stamina issues because he had such terrible nerves. You could see the anxious nervousness in his eyes and movements when he'd fight, while his trainers would say he trained hard in the gym.

    Yeah, I think the footwork is the hardest thing to mask or hide from "spies" or other scouts.

    You may throw less punches and be more defensive during sparring, but your footwork (whether excellent, average or poor) will almost always come through.

    not much. Maybe how tight their defense is and if they cover their head and body well with the arms and gloves. Maybe a little about the jab.
