Of course it doesn't make you smarter....you could look at texts on quantum theory all day but its not going to make you smarter....maybe slightly better informed
Basically he needs to field his entire stable in each event to make it a decent card now. Cleverly vs Another no hoper Chisora vs someone decentish BJS British title fight Buglioni or Frankie Gavin or both
No it doesn't, it just means that you have memorised the facts and figures....smarts comes into play with the application of the information that you have gathered
I agree with you but in the context of Machos comments, that information has been applied to recognise what is a **** fight. Example. I read on Joseph Ocampo's record on Boxrec and watch him on youtube. I evaluated him as a fighter. I now recognise that he does not deserve a fight with Ricky Burns for a world title.
Yeah, thats fine, but having just the information to hand doesn't make anyone smarter. The smart bit comes with the evaluation :thumbsup
2 Shows Frank could put on that could sell 10,000. Wembley Nathan Cleverly vs Jurgen Braehmer (WBO Light Heavyweight) Derick Chisora vs Audley Harrison (10x3 Heavyweight) Frankie Gavin vs Carson Jones (WBO International Welterweight) Billy Joe Saunders vs Kerry Hope (British Middleweight) Frank Buglioni & Mitchell Smith Echo Arena Paul Smith vs Tony Dodson (Vacant British Super Middleweight) Liam Smith vs Sam Webb (Commonwealth Light Middleweight) Liam Walsh vs Stephen Smith (Commonwealth Super Featherweight) Paul Butler vs Jamie Conlon (British & Commonwealth Super Flyweight) Joe Selkirk vs Craig McEwan (Vacant Commonwealth Middleweight)
Why I said could do 10k as in Max. Just highlighting the position Frank is in now. Burns & Groves were his 2 biggest ticket sellers and only 6000 were sold for that card before it went titsup.
The forum has reached a new level of pedantry. Discussing whether the term "smarter" means more intelligent or better informed
