    It's up to the commissions.

Teddy Atlas recently brought up again how promoters meet officials for dinner pre fight. In any other major sport there would be massive outrage, but no one in boxing seems to care.
I would ****ing flip if i knew my opponents promoter was wining and dining the officials.

Boxing will never solve the problem from the inside because everybody is complicit. The promoters, commissions and ABC organisations all make more money if the A-side keeps winning, and the fans are complicit in that they keep paying for the fights.

Would 5 judges make any difference? I know that WBC welterweight tournament had 5 judges and it seemed to work OK.

Yep boxing would need to be scrapped and rebuilt from the bottom up for anything to really change, the whole system is too easily corruptible and lacks any accountability.

Even if that were to happen you'd still get the odd dodgy decision because people are human and would be swayed by their own personal bias and be unable to score a fight correctly. All it takes is one judge to have an off night and one judge to be biased towards one fighter and you'll get a result like we saw last night. Look at how many people swear blind even right now that Wilder won, are they corrupt or been paid off by Shelly Finkel, nope they are just biased, whether it be down to a style bias, a dislike for one fighter or even a racial bias, you'll never stop people being biased, it's a part of human nature.

Realistically there's nothing that can be done except ignore the official verdict and tell everyone you come across to do the same.

That appears to be what most people are doing anyway, and it seems to be working in engraining the correct result in people's minds. Anyone who still considers Wilder to be a legit world champion is in a pretty small and unvocal minority, and I think subsequent interviews and TV/Radio discussions are only going to further dwindle those numbers.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wilder goes into a media cocoon following this fallout. He already seems to be a beaten man, while Fury is parading around like he's king of the castle.
