He should take the Whyte fight.

The perfect comeback fight for him to rebuild some momentum against a ranked opponent.

I was thinking Trevor Bryan might be a fight he might like to target. Utter gash of course, but probably the safest option for him to get back into some sort of contention. It might even light the fire back up his arse and give him back some of the confidence he had of old being a champion of sorts, which would instantly open up a lot more winning possibilities for him.

It would be a fun fight to watch the buildup on. Don King gets to get his waistcoat out and fill his bottomless pockets once more. Bryan gets to pose as 'the champ', Wilder talks to 'his people' and says and does lots of silly things. Then they have a fight and Wilder KO's him I guess, or it really is all over. Probably won't happen but it would be more interesting to me at least than a Kownacki or similar.

It would be. If it could be made. Too much ego and bad blood between those two to make anything straightforward though..

Agreed. Wilder should just take a few more 7 figure pay days before he retires. Even if he lost to Whyte he could still make millions fighting Joshua, or Ruiz, or Parker or whoever.

For all his faults, Wilder is box office. I'd love to see him fight any of the top 10 (apart from Fury).

Dillian Whyte would be the perfect fight because Whyte is ranked 3/4th on the world right now, but is literally perfect for Wilder.

If Wilder is on firm, I see Dillian being KO'd in 1-2 rounds. Seriously. Whyte is slow, and what he did vs Rivas and Povetkin fight 1 he couldn't do to Wilder.

Whyte's only hope would be to put on some weight and maul Wilder into the ropes like he did vs Parker at times, and I see him walking into a right hand.

With Povetkin for me all is clear: 30-36 y.o Povetkin had KOed Whyte cold and quickly.
When Povetkin was 37, his legs started to go " to be gone " and even A.J didn't had prime Pov in the ring, also not these 3 opponents Pov had won before his fight vs A.J.
Not alone 40 or almost 41 or 41 y. 6 months old Povetkin.
Hrgovic too had KOed this 40+ version of Povetkin.

I'd actually prefer Kownacki I think. He's at least a known commodity, even if no longer undefeated. Bryan just strikes me as a useless lump. If someone told me Kirk Johnson had shaved his head and was making a comeback under a different name I'd believe it was Bryan they were talking about.

For me someone like Fedosov or Rivas would make for some interesting fights, but the question is what level of risk is Wilder prepared to face at the moment? We know next to nothing about his true mental state.

Under no illusions re Bryan, but kownacki will just walk on to Wilders fist in any case. This way we get Don King talking nonsense, a silly belt being brandished etc..

There's literally no point in a Fury vs Wilder rematch unless Wilder goes on a spree of beating top class opponents and becomes mandatory by earning it.

If Wilder KO's Whyte and Ruiz, then Fury vs Wilder 3 might be interesting.

He should take Robert Helanius as a comeback fight then fight Whyte afterwards

Wilder should be careful with his money and prepare for retirement without another BIG payday.
But he will probably blow his money and have several win and lose fights with journeymen into his 40s.
He is not a mentally and emotionally strong individual.

Motivated aprrox 6 months in row Ruiz might turn Wilder in paraplegic till end of his life or he might get even destiny like Dadashev.
Cans crushing and bums KO period for murican market had ended when even old uncle gave him a lot problems.
And isulted by forums poster's and YT commentators Fury appreared not enough ring rusty for cherry picker kid.

I might not be surprised that even rated by forums posters as overrated Hunter and Hrgovic might even kill this hype job kid in the ring.
    If good night for them.
Cherry picked bums KOs is all needed for U.S market to be great and respectable.

He is even worse than cans beater hype job with 1 decent opponent in life in hyped bums beater Gerald hype job kid.
