I think injuries will start getting to him. He does not have a longterm style.

Wilder could have been amazing for boxing fans in America. But his never ending path-of-least-resistance opponents was bordering on shameful.

I still think he has the time to rebuild himself, but I don't see it happening. I don't think he has it in him, nor does he seem to want to challenge himself. He'll likely just take some more easy wins over glorified sparring partners, with the hope that he'll earn one last big payday in a title fight. Whether that would be against joshua or fury, he'd likely lose either way and call it a day, but not before going all grassy knoll and accusing the champ of hypnotizing him mid-fight, or releasing carbon monoxide into his corner.

I think some of this (let's remember Fury ain't doing much either) might have to do with COVID.

Wilder could conceivably stop Ruiz and White...perhaps all the other contenders. That to me puts him in line for the victor in Joshua/Fury. Absolutely.

I want Wilder to win big, against a top contender. Because to me he's the most excitinig heavyweight today. And he's a good fighter; a lot of people here seemed to turn around against him after he lost to Fury and I'm not one of them. I'm a fan...though I recognize his (obvious) limitations.

Theres fights for him if he wants them.

Could come back against Charles Martin or Robert Helenius, and then fight Ruiz after Arreola.

Wilder-Ruiz would probably do good business and the winner would probably be back to being considered #3 in the division.

Whyte's looked pretty bad since he fought Parker.
Whyte is the highest ranked opponent I can see Wilder beating and not without risk.

Agree. He’ll fight some B level and his diminished Fanbase will rage about how he’s back .... in the best knock out artist of all time ..... Same ol Schlick

but he’s nowhere near the level of Fury And never will be

I would take AJ over him and I would probably pick Ruiz Jr over him as well

    WHO NECKS

He should fight the other Tyson.
Watch Mike KO him in the first round and convert some of these 'modern super heavies, it's a different division' fangirls.

Not sure on that, since he did knock Fury down twice and draw with him the first time around.

Such a cute comment. He's torn biceps and broken hands.

Wilder can make a comeback IMO. but he needs to fight somebody inside this year otherwise he will get a ring rust. He possesses a KO power in both hands so he's still a dangerous fighter for anyone.

I don't see him sticking around to be a gatekeeper unless there are serious IRS problems, either a big fight like Ruiz (and continuing his career if he wins), a couple more knockovers for old times sake, or retirement.
