Canelo should drop his WBC title, let GGG collect it then take on 2 or 3 matches at the full 160 limit against solid opponents to fully adjust then challlenge GGG to take his title back!
Damn, I didn't think of that. GGG would of probably collected all the titles and have no reason to stay at 160 if Canelo did take on a few other matches beforehand. Smh
star fighting more bums like a shot kirland so he can look spectacular. This kid can only get gifts for so long.
or ggg could suck it up and face reality...that he is lower on the food chain and fight on canelos terms he said hed do 154 for Floyd...so pretend canelo is Floyd and then beat him and hell have no more worries and can do it his way after that the guy told ward he had to come down if he wanted a fight....so someone can tell him to come down....just accept it and take care of business
If you're implying he got gifted his wins over cotto or trout, you're delusional. As for Lara, I had Canelo win that by a point but it could've gone either way in my honest opinion.
Cotto won 4 rounds tops so even if the scorecards were too wide, the right guy won so it doesn't really matter
What should Canelo do right now? Get some help looking his nuts because he had them after the Cotto fight when talking to Max Kellerman but seems to have since lost them :good
right. But lets say cotto won 7 rounds, and the same pattern of scoring was applied. Then it WOULD HAVE been a robbery. I bet then the margin of scoring would matter. I don't agree that we should overlook ridiculous scores just because "the right guy won". Because sometimes the right guy doesnt.
But what if the scorecards weren't too wide? You could have a really competitive fight and one guy could've slightly edged the other guy out every round to win 120-108. Just because you're scoring one guy behind on the scorecards doesn't mean you should give him a close round just because he's behind to bring the scores closer. See where I'm going with this?
Yes I know the difference between a wide fight with close rounds and a close fight. The point sitll remains the same. Canelo didnt win every round. Cotto deserved 4 and mybe even 6. rounds The point is that if a fight is really 7-5 and its scored 10 - 2 it is overlooked because the right guy won. But if the fight was really 6 -6 or 7-5 for the other fighter, the same judge would have scored it 8-4 for the wrong person. do you see where IM going with THIS?
I see what you're saying but idt it applies here. Like I said before, I would give Cotto 4 rounds tops. A draw would've been an injustice.
