What category do you fall under(cotto vs mosley)

Here is one thing people are failing to realize. Just because Cotto was going backwards a few rounds doesn't mean he lost those rounds. During those rounds he was landing the more effective punches. He was outboxing Mosley for the most part while going backwards.

He pretty much pulled a mayweather except he engaged a little more. Not everyone who goes backwards is running. If you watch the fight again, you'll see that Mosley wasn't landing anything meaningful while Cotto was going backwards.
