Right now he is between A- and B+ but he is definitely huge potential and i would be extremely surprised if he doesnt live up to HOF career.

Class C, and more people will realize this when Floyd pulls off the easy UD.

    who has canelo out boxed?

a 95 year old carlos baldomir who has zero defense?
    a ***** kermit cintron?
    matthew hatton?
a reality tv show star alfonso gomez?
and austin trout..... good win. but a win he barely pulled off

Barely pulled it off my ass, the only people who are saying that are the ones who gave Canelo no chance to win.

Let me ask you this straight up if Canelo wins beats Floyd convincingly UD or Stoppage is it because Floyds old? is that the only reason? is there no conceivable way that Canelo beats Floyd because he is the better man that night?

    Your point?

    these fights happened awhile ago.

And those wins weren't that bad. His worst win is Rhodes.

:rofl Brandon Rios hype is amazing:patsch Canelo and every fighter on that level would box circles around Rios, something Abril did easily. Seriously underrating or hating Canelo with this!!!

all i'm saying is a 154 pound version of rios would give canelo a hell of a fight..... lets not forget that canelo was having stamina problems vs trout... who applies zero pressure...... canelo hasn't ever been tested by any style realistically..... he's fought a lot of soft touches

I think he's decent but he hasn't fought anyone that could challenge him yet

Considering his age, I definately think he has the chance of certainly being a HOF fighter.

To put it in perspective, Froch hadnt even gone pro by Alvarez's age.

    Martinez had barely started fboxing!

solid talent. technical offense and a good punch. very polished offense for a 22 year old. chin looks good.

he doesn't throw enough, he's not super fast, he doesn't always react well to offense (i expected him to open up more when he gets hit. he does not.)

i expect him to have a very lucritive career, with some meaningful wins and some losses along the way. i think he'll lose a decision to mayweather, simply because of a lack of activity.

the hall of fame is watered down today. there are lots of less than great fighters who are being talked about as easy hall of famers. could alvarez get there? sure. do i think he'll be one of the ATG, or 100 best fighters of all time? of course not.

Good fighter, got his first solid real win vs trout

  15. :thinkI agree with what marquez said; even if canelo loses the expierence he gets from this fight will be invaluable. I don't think he can out box Floyd; ever. Maybe he can stop him? I hope
