I define a bum as most people on here who don't have the guts to step into the ring themselves, but then accuse pretty much everyone who has ever lost a fight as Glass Jaw.
Someone like Eric Crumble who has zero boxing skills and is there just to make a few hundred bucks and get KO'd. I prefer to use the word "tomato can". I respect most boxers who get into the ring, but some just don't have the talent or teaching to succeed.
A bum is any B level or B+ level titlist or former titlist that a certain fighters HATERZ use to downplay his resume:deal
But really, a REAL BUM, is a guy like Dustin Nichols, Harold Sconiers, even Ty Cobb. Not solid journeyman who doesnt beat other journeyman but makes his living beating debuting club fighters a couple fights in a row, then gets a call from a prospect and folds like a napkin during the first exchange.
Bums are what haters of any fighter will call their opposition regardless. It's very overused. There are no bums at the levels of top fighters just some with more skills than others. Although an argument can be made for Broner.. :hi:
"Bums" are fighters who : 1. Quit at the first sign of trouble 2. Go down without being hit 3. Don't train 4. Step into the ring sporting rolls of flab 5. Foul incessantly to compensate for lack of ability etc.
