A lot of guys get accused of ducking but there never seems to be a consistent/consensus agreement that fighter a ducked fighter B.... give some examples of a TRUE DUCK and what actions made the duck really a duck...
a boxer becomes a DUCK when internet warriors that dont know **** about boxers think boxer A should fight Boxer B.. and since Boxer A will not fight Boxer B because he dont even know him.. then he becomes a Duck on the eyes of pices of **** like you
Good question. In all actuality, "duck" is very overused. I think it is only purely true when 1. a close or controversial result happens between two boxers, a rematch would be a big draw/not set back either's career track and 2. Refuse to fight a mandatory and then fight a boxer notably less well regarded. All of these only when the "ducked" fighter is not being unreasonable or difficult in contract negotiations. Those are clear ducks, apart from that, everything is debatable, might be some truth in it, might not.
BULL****! Listen, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...it's....OK, yes you are correct, carry on.
Note to Admin: Please remember to auto-block BULL**** as the phrase may offend sensitive bulls and lead to yet more imaginary lawsuits.
What constitutes a duck? The unfortunate accident of being on the opposite side of the fence on internet message boards.
Under ducking in the dictionary there is a picture of Jones. When you enter the light heavyweight division with an established, unified champion, refuse to ever fight him, claim his titles, defend them against part time fighters, and even go so far as to try to have your network ban the mention of his name, yeah, thats ducking. Another classic example is Dempsey ducking his #1 challenger for 7 years.
Lennox ducking EVERY legitimate southpaw HW qualifies As well as Lennox promising Vitali a rematch, waiting 6 months to watch Vitali destroy Johnson, then announcing retirement a week after.
Shhhiiieeetttt......... The fact that he's 1 for 1 against them is a disgrace. Canada should be ashamed at Lewis.
