I know this has probably been discussed at some time before, but what constitutes a fighters prime during his career? To me, there are 2 different primes; physical and mental. Physical constitutes when the fighter has reached physical maturity and peaked with his physical attributes. This tends to occur around the fighters mid 20's. Mental constitutes how the fighter fights with his physical tools. To me, this is usually off set from the physical prime and generally occurs later on in time. I bring this up because I often hear people say a fighter is prime at lets say 32 and that just wouldn't be the case if we were talking about physical prime. In your opinion, is there a reason to distinguish between the two?!
