A lot of people say that Tyson's defense became porous, but I thnk it was the fact that Tyson just fought better fighters. Whenever he fought good fighters, he was hit. Tyrell Biggs dominated the first round with Tyson by outboxing him. Quick Tillis hit him quite a bit, and that was in 1986. He got chin-checked by Bonecrusher, Tucker and Bruno. When you fighter good fighters, you are going to get him more. He still used good head moverment in these fights, though.

Tyson's fall in the ring was from everybody catoring to him. You have to make Tyson respect you. You can't just work for him. A guy like him respects you more when you make him do the right things. He wasn't getting that once Cus died.

He lost it went on a road to knowhere once Cus and Jim Jacobs died.

Surrounding himself with good time charlie "yes men" and one unscrupulous promoter. And the golddigging rags from hell, being falsely accused and incarcerated for ****, and even rumors of possible drug use early on in his career. Excess basically.
