He seemed to have more head movement in the 1st round to avoid the punches, but as the round continued his head movement stopped as he we getting hit more and more. Quite opposite of what he was taught and perhaps even the natural instinct of being punch. Do you think he ran into his physical limitation or was it a mental lapse?

Yes, I watched the 1st round again and Leapai moved his head much more. Wladmir even resorted to stiff arming to control the head movement and the stiff arming stopped as he was able to figure out the target better.

He never had any head movement. He was just bending down to one side. His footwork was some of the worst ive ever seen. He had no jab. He brought no pressure like he should off and headhunted and threw no body shots like Tank instructed him to.

Wlad had no business fighting this guy. A black eye for the sport.

Well dinovelvet is actually right this time. Alex had no place in the ring with wlad. And never should have been picked for a title shot in the first place. It´s either Fury or Pulev next hopefully. This was a terrible mismatch.

First we must ask if we can definitively call that head movement...

    No, no we cannot.

Now we must ask why he didn't use any head movement...

    He sucks.

Right, it was a one dimensional head movement but still when he stopped Wladmir had little trouble connecting with jab..jab..right or jab..jab..left hook.

Probably the blood clot in his head when Wlad hit him for the first time.
