yes but then that necesitates him being a gutless ballless ***** like Maywether or Calzaghe and Cotto for all his faults was taking risks and challenges. He will be back the sun has not set on Miguel Cotto
but honestly in spite of Margos victory now its up to him to take the challenges. I honestly see a short reign, he is just too slow and can be outboxed. I believe if I hear Cotto talking rematch anytime soon and gets himself a different trainer he will take it as it will show me he feels he could have done better.

I think if Cotto had a different trainer things may have been different. I think he should get a new trainer, bring new blood in. Cotto just might make a great comeback.

I can see Margarito actually cleaning out the division. I think if he gets by Paul Williams it will be a down hill battle from there. I think he beats all the other belt holders and maybe go up in weight to fight Santos for revenge.

maybe a different ref 2, what I saw was the ref was too quick on cotto for clinching, like I myself am fairly anti-clinching but atleast 3 or 4 seconds is ok in my opinion and it is part of the sport but soon as cotto even went to grab margarito's hands the ref jumped in almost instantly wtf.

also use more dirty tactics, cotto needs every advantage he can get that means headbutts, hitting below the belt, elbows, hitting after the bell etc.
cotto needs to fight smart for 12 rounds and just fight like a real *****, like a mayweather, if his stamina and feet are quick enough over 12 i give cotto a once sided ud like 119-108 or something but only if he can last running all night

So in short Cotto needs to:

    1. Clinch like Ruiz/Wlad
    2. Wrestle, hold and hit like Hatton
    3. Rabbit punch like Samuel Peter
    4. Low blow like .... like well Cotto himself
    5. Headbutt like Hopkins/Clottey
    6. Run and potshot like Mayweather

Sounds like a masterplan to me.

stayed off the ropes & more movement when Margarito threw punches.
Be a bit more aggresive when attacking to keep Marg off him a bit

cotto doesnt need to clinch too much like ruiz, cotto has great timing and speed..he can only perform clinches occasionally if needed to. Having already fought margarito i think he already knows his tempo and pattern so that would help more in timing his clinces..thats what floyd is good at, he can adapt in the middle of the heat

margo has an iron head and granite balls i don't think headbutts and low blows will work
