What could David Haye have achieved if he fought everyone instead of just chasing k2

I will favor him over every non k2 heavyweight of this era. If he had heart and is willing to fight anyone, I see that he could become the undisputed #3 soon to be #2.

Haye does not beat everyone out there as his fans like to pretend! His path at heavyweight is a
charted course. due to a reason, he would not make it any other way.Haye is Haye and at
heavyweight Haye is nothing special unless your british or a delusional fan.

I think he has/had the skills to be a solid #3. Shame.

Then Haye's shine would have been gone a long time ago, and he knows that.
I don't believe he was able to beat everyone besides the brothers, I was even a little surprised he beat his countryman Chisora the way he did.

edit: for starters I favor Chambers over him.

I'm not even a Haye fan, but maybe top 5? Come on! Are you saying you wouldn't pick him over Povetkin, who looks like **** and is the number 3 rated heavyweight?

I wouldn't favor Povetkin anywhere in the world judging by their recent fights.

And no disrespect, but who cares about any of those guys? Besides Chamber and Arreola none are relevant at the moment, and I would hesitate before makings a wager against Haye with either of those guys without thinking long and hard about it first.

Haye was smart enough to fight guys like Chisora and Audley for big paydays and just talk his way into the bigger fights. He may not be the best boxer out there but he's the smartest.

Chagaev, was well past it when Haye arrived at H/W and Haye would easily beat the older version

Byrd, was he even still fighting when Haye got to H/W?

Adamek, would not have a good shot at beating Haye, he literally does nothing better than Haye

Arreola, is a glorified clubfighter, would do no better than Chisora whos actually a better pressure fighter

Chambers, trades on a speed advantage that would be rendered moot by Haye

Peter, was not relevant since the Vitali fight and i doubt he'd beat Haye.

Of those listed, PRIME Chagaev and Byrd would be slight favorites against Haye, PRIME Peter is 50/50, but none of those PRIME guys existed during Haye's tenure at heavyweight, the rest would all lose badly no question imo.

It's cool to bash Haye but if you sit and really think about it, he is well up there in the top 5

How about Adamek having a better chin, recuperative power, stamina and an inside game, Adamek would rip Haye to shreds.

I think Chambers is faster enough to beat Haye.

Povetkin and Kevin Johnson would beat Haye too.

if he actually cared about his fboxing career, then he'd be #3 without doubt, instead he considers himself a hero because he lasted 12 rounds with Wlad, collected his paycheck and retired, only to come back to take an easy fight against a guy coming off 1-3 in his last 4 fights

he is irrelevent outside Britain, everyone outside the island knows Haye's true colors
