What could Haye have done different to beat Wlad?

Correct we have to admit Haye has quite limited inside fighting skills. Not as bad as Wlad's but still very very limited and unimpressive. As a smaller man, Haye has absolutely no uppercut to speak of in his repertoire, even Wlad punches a better uppercut and that says a lot.

Actually, whatever Haye gains through explosiveness in the infight may be nullified through Wlad's weight advantage during grab & hug.

Haye's biggest skills IMO is a disciplined counter punching style that he uses to explode on once landing a counter. The problem for Haye style-wise is that Wlad is just too disciplined to be countered regularly from the outside. Haye was 'waiting' and Wlad wasn't offering. Style-wise this is all bad for Haye.

That's also why IMO Haye will easily wipe the floor with a walk-forward type like Chisora and his fans will scream 'Oh look how Haye has improved' and a rematch with Wlad would be an exact carbon copy of the first fight. Just because of the styles.

 

haye dosnt have the stamina to be busy.and he knows it hence his style.the only time haye throws like the clappers is when hes hurt or when he thinks his mans about to go (his swimming in mid air attack and he has a cheek to call this the killer instinct lmao)..haye isnt good enough to ever beat wlad bar a lucky shot..hes not good enough to outbox him and dosnt posses enough power to knock him out with the one shot..he hasnt got the footowork,timing,balance or speed (maybe when wlad gets abit older he might) to beat wladimir...vitali on the other hand at this stage in his life might give haye a chance for a tko or sd but would haves chin hold up to shots actually conecting as hes trying to land his own (we all know when your hit while not moving your head or your body its a hell of alot more damage)...
