In this day and era of Live streaming, internet, satellite tv, tons of sports networks and youtube, we as Boxing fans get an opportunity to watch fights from all over globe. So my question is...what country does the best job of scoring/judging fights? IMO, (probably because "we" appear to have more fights, here is "The States" there seems to be far more awful decisions, bad scoring and robberies as opposed to other countries.

I will give Canada a lot of props for the many of times I have seen a fighter from "The States" fight a Canadian fighter in his backyard (his home province) and still get the decision. That rarely happens and i have seen it over a dozen times. The UK also gets a thumbs up for doing a decent job of scoring/judging fights (although the Froch/Dirrell fight was a head scratcher).

It's hard to point out one particular country wich has the best scoring.

The UK is always very 'hometown decision' bound, and so is Germany wich manages to also really rob visiting fighters in the most horrible ways possible.

The US has always been the 'Mekka of boxing', but also you very rarely get a fair decision if someone from outside their borders beats (or sometimes even KO's) an American. Also 2 foreign figters against eachother is asking for wrong decisions in the US.

Russia and Poland manage to actually rob their own hometown fighters sometimes, and then a visiting fighter the next week... so that's not really good either.

Mexico is about the same as the UK, so you really have to beat their homies by a good margin to get the win.

Japan seems to score relatively fair, but there have been a couple recent robberies there too.

It probably is some country wich doesn't have a big name for hosting fights, but when they do try to be as fair as possible... can't think of one right now.

Although I have seen some wrong decisions in the U.K. (Froch vs Dirrell) I haven't seen to many robberies there. So I'd have to go with merry ol' England.

certain yankee and eurobum judges travel all over the world to **** up fights, it doesn't matter much where the fight takes place

I don't think their is a country what deserves to be called great for decisions, everybody has a bias, I do however think it's either Germany or the US for the worst decisions.

I think the US does an ok job at scoring considering the sheer number of fights that happen in it.

Germany is just so very blatant about robbing fighters it's ridiculous.

yeah US is still the best imo due to the ratio of good fights to bad fights

None. Incompetent judging is helping to kill the sport.
