What current heavyweights have defeated the most world titleholders?

Fury beat Cunningham who was IBF Cruiserweight World Champion after beating Adamek.

 

As far as HEAVYWEIGHTS are concerned, Usyk has only defeated one HEAVYWEIGHT title holder in Joshua.

 

Seems odd you're adding champs from any weight but wins over actual heavyweight interim champs or regular champs don't count.

Anyway:

* Deontay Wilder fought Stiverne twice, so he has three. (He also successfully defended his title for the eighth time against Fury. So three with an asterisk *)

* Robert Helenius fought Liakhovich, as well as Peter and Brewster. So he has three.

* Luis Ortiz beat Martin (and may beat Ruiz next week).

* Joyce also beat Stiverne. (I guess Dubois doesn't count. Seems odd if wins over a shot Adamek do.)

* Lucas Browne beat Ruslan Chagaev (win never overturned, he was just stripped) and (if we're adding cruiserweights and such) James Toney.

* Dillian Whyte beat Oscar Rivas (if we're adding Bridgerweights and such. He also beat WBA regular champ Povetkin, which doesn't count, I guess.)

* Steve Cunningham (who is still active) beat a bunch of cruiserweight champs : Guillermo Jones, Kelvin Davis, Wlodarczyk, Huck, Wayne Braithwaite, and drew with Tarver. (He also lost seven times to champs: Glowacki, Adamek twice controversially, Wlodarczyk, Yoan Hernandez twice and Fury). He fought the most by far.

* Eric Molina beat Adamek (if we're adding cruiserweights and such).

* Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller beat Adamek (if we're adding cruiserweights and such).

* Like Cunningham, Murat Gassiev only beat cruiserweights (Lebedev, Dorticos, Wlodarczyk).

So Usyk finishes first, and Steve Cunningham finishes second with FIVE (with the asterisk draw against Tarver). But, for both, their wins are over mostly cruiserweight titlists.

 

Sorry but your comparison doesnt quite work that way and your title is incredibly misleading.
You're trying to establish that Usyk has defeated the more quality fighters.
But untill those cruiserweights Usyk defeated grow up and accomplish something at heavyweight, we wont know their true quality over the "faded/shot" heavyweights will we?

 

So Joyce's win over a Daniel Dubois and Whyte beating Rivas and Povetkin don't count as much as "Big Baby" Miller's win over Tomasz Adamek?

Why'd you leave off Steve Cunningham's wins? He had a dozen fights with champions and he beat all those cruiserweights when they were very good, not like Miller against Adamek. Cunningham beat Huck 10 years before Usyk did.

Browne's win over Chagaev counts. Browne's win over Toney counts, given your criteria. Toney was a champion in many divisions, including cruiserweight.

And wasn't Tony Bellew a "regular" WBC champion? Wasn't Usyk also the WBC cruiserweight champion when they fought?

 

Sorry, I got confused between Adamek and Huck. Anyhow, Cunningham should be on the list according to your criteria.

 

He isn't retired. He fought on one of Jake Paul's cards along with Regis Prograis.

Clearly it didn't, since I'm the one adding fighters to EVERYONE's names.

But now I know why you don't want to include interim or regular champs at heavyweight, and you strangely don't want to include fights like Whyte's KO win over Povetkin and Joyce's win over Dubois ... but you are fine including Big Baby Miller's win over totally finished old cruiserweight Adamek.

If you include Interim and regular champions, WILDER has five wins (two over Ortiz) ... and five is MORE than Joshua and Fury.
