You're including wins by Joshua over Martin five years ago, and you don't include Ortiz's win over Martin this year? You DIDN'T include Ortiz's name AT ALL until I "reminded" you to add him ... but you have Hughie Fury over Peter?

Because if you add wins over all the beltholders at heavyweight, Joshua and Fury have FOUR wins and Wilder has FIVE.

And if you add all divisions, Whyte, Fury and Joshua all have four ... and Wilder still has five.

So you pick and choose which heavyweight belts you recognize, and you pick and choose which lower weight belts you recognize.

Hell, you didn't even want to include Steve Cunningham in your initial post and blasted Fury for even fighting him. You didn't give Cunningham credit for any wins over champs, but gladly added HUCK to Usyk's name. And Cunningham fought more champs than Usyk did.

I replied to your opening post with all the fighters missing, and Luis Ortiz not listed, and Deontay Wilder shorted a win over Stiverne. Your original post is still above my fist reply.

I thought you were actually trying to compile a list and took the time to include a lot of names. But your intent was just to be a dick and start yet another troll thread.

Wilder should have more wins. Whyte should have more wins. Joyce should have more wins. Hell, Browne should have more.

Tyson Fury (if he's considered active again) and Anthony Joshua each have a win over Wladimir Klitschko. So they each have 1.

 

Klitschko was probably slower against Fury than he was against Puritty, Sanders or Brewster, yet the more skilled and experienced Wlad who fought Fury was the much better fighter, hence the 11 year unbeaten streak and 18 consecutive defences while never winning by less than a 9-3 margin away from home.

Ali lost to greenhorn, 197 lbs, journeyman-level Leon Spinks almost 4 years prior to losing to Berbick. Wlad had crushed Pulev in a career best performance 12 months prior to getting schooled by Fury. When was the last time Ali produced a career best performance?

Don't forget T. Fury's win of Wilder's WBC belt (not some BS "interim" or "International" belt). So that's two for him. Of course, the trick wording of the thread title is "active" heavyweights.... but that presumes Fury's not back in a heartbeat for the right $$ and that this latest "retirement" isn't just like the others.

 

He more recently said he'd come back for 250 million, but I doubt he commands that, and if Joshua doesn't come back, he's not going to be worth much at all.

 

I guess, rubbish as he is, Jared Anderson should be there for beating Martin.
