Im a pacman fan and im trying to prove to my friend that pacquiao is some sort of all time great, i just cant seem to figure out if he has ever beaten a fighter who was ranked in the p4p rankings. I know he beat Barrera but he wasnt TOP p4p, i know he beat Morales but he wasnt top P4P, i know he beat De La Hoya, he's p4p right? or was that a few years ago? what about Hatton? is he p4p after beating Tzuyu or was that a few years ago also? I always forget. oh maybe Juan Manuel Marquez? its just that out of those 2 fights, they are both so highly disputed. I need a clear victory win over a p4p great fighter who WAS not out of his prime, and Ricky Hatton cant be included considering he had already been knocked out and before Mayweather most people said Hatton had a padded record to begin with.

anyway can someone help me out?

What is your question? Barrera was in the pound for pound ten when Manny beat him, so was Morales, so was Hatton, so was Marquez.

What do you mean by "p4p fighter"?

MAB was ranked 3rd p4p when he beat him. Was ranked top 10 just a month before before being pushed out in the 2nd fight so def top 15 p4p.

    JMM was ranked 3rd p4p I believe.

Morales was ranked top 10 p4p.

    Hatton was top 10 p4p.

    Ledwaba was about top15-20.

I had JMM at #2, but the Ring had Calzaghe ahead of him (although JMM has always been better than Calzaghe, always)

Barrera was #3, Morales was something like #6. Hatton was #9 i think.

Excuse me noob? Sasakul was ranked best at Flyweight when Pac beat him. Ledwaba was top 15 p4p and top 2 BW. MAB was the lineal & ring champ at FW and was currently ranked #3 p4p. JMM in the second fight was currently ranked #3 p4p. Morales was ranked #7 p4p. Hatton was ranked #8 p4p and was ring and lineal champ at 140!

JMM wasnt ranked during there 1st fight..At least not in the top 10..the 2nd fight he was #4 I believe..Mayweather Pac and Joe C were all above JMM at the time! IMO however if Joe C were still fighting than JMM would have surpassed Joe after his 2 impressive W's (KO'S) over Joel and Juan Diaz!
