Ward is a far cry from a prime B-Hop.

Ward beats him. Dirrell gives him hell, but Slappy Joe probably edges him in the end.

Past prime Calzaghe defeated BHOp who is a better version of Ward now or what Ward may ever be..Just sayin

I say Bute, the man can box and has pop

If it wasnt a prime calzaghe. Then a prime calzaghe barely beat Robin Ried and Ward schools his ass.

I dont think this version of Hopkins is as good as Ward. Ward has stamina and can fight for 12 rounds 3 minutes a pop. Hopkins obviously cant and takes breaks unless you think this version of Ward loses to Jermain Taylor.

Bute gets hit too much. Every fight I see him he's taking leather.

Yeah but he has power and thats Joes dilemma.
An awkward southpaw who can box with power. Ward and Bute is a tossup for me both good jabs, Wards got better feet, power goes to Bute, awkward vs. polished. Defense Ward but I have a feeling ring IQ to Bute

I think Bute, Abraham, Ward, and Dirrell all have pretty good chances of beating him. I don't like Froch or Taylor's chance against Calzaghe.

Ward Smokes Joe.. Defence is to nasty, movement and switch hitting is just to much for Joe... once Ward finds the right style is Rap City (In the basement of couse) lol Dirrell goes life and death with Joe but its a toss up.. I see Joe getting close enough to get his slaps off.. Dirrell counter punching is key and he counters like no other.. SO Dirrell by Points but its close.. I see Bute getting some sneaky uppercuts and body shots.. depends on how Joe takes it.. I see him possibly falling down cause thats what Bute does to people when he hits them with the body shot and the uppercut.. however.. Dude takes way to many shots.. but I think Bute takes Joe early or mid range.. If he allows Joe to stay in the fight in the late rounds I can see a Joe C pulling one off.. Froch nahhh.. Joe to fast and fustrating for him.. Abraham starts to slow.. but if Joe gets cocky and trades he might get hit with those Cinder Blocks Abraham throws and its an Early night for Joe.. but if Joe fights smart.. he beats Abrahamn.. The Taylor that fought B hop first time yes.. anything after Pavlik nope...

All those fighters on the list are still Top-Level fighters. So Calzaghe would fight them now. Maybe when their "WAY-PAST-THEIR-PRIMES" Maybe Calzaghe would fight them.

All very interesting matchups. I really would have loved to have seen joe matched up with any one of these fighters. We really don't know how joe would perform against any of these guys because he rarely fought young tough fighters in their prime. Guys help me out but besides kessler, I can't think of any, and we know how well kessler fared with ward and froch.

Lacy and Sheika come to mind. Though the Kessler that fought Ward and Froch was pretty well past it compared to the one that fought Calzaghe. Also, Ward lost 2-3 rounds against Kessler over 11. Calzaghe lost 3-4 over 12. Without any controversy over refs, judges, or illegal tactics. People make it like Ward beat Kessler worse than Calzaghe, but that just didn't happen. He busted him up a lot worse though, that's for sure...

Embarassingly enough, I completely forgot that Cal fought Kessler.
