Ricky weighed more than Floyd when they fought.

Oscar out-weighed Floyd by at least 10+ pounds.

Zab out-weighed him by 5 pounds.

Baldomir out-weighed him by 10+ pounds.

yes he has declined IMO. the feet dont move like they used to, the hands have gotten noticeably slower, and the work rate has suffered a fair bit to. not sure how much can be attributed to age and moving up in weight class.

i remember watching the hatton fight and thinking that this isnt the pbf of old(though i was in the minority). i doubt he has improved seeing as hes aging and rusty. one thing to remember, people who are at the upper end of the speed and reflex scale tend to not age so gracefully.

Floyd's offense has gone down considerably, and has become a less moving target.

I still think Floyd is untested at 147.

It's not that he's past his prime necessarily, but it's obvious to me that since he moved up to 147 and above the extra pounds have weighed him down a little bit. His movement isn't quite as good or consistent and his combination punches and fluidity aren't what they used to be. He's become more of a potshotter these days.

I never sad his stamina isn't what it was. What I said is that his activity in the ring isn't like it used to be, he doesn't throw punches in bunches/combinations like he used to and just resorts to throwing one punch at a time. He didn't show terrible stamina against both Hatton and DLH but we should know more about it when he steps in against Marquez. Mayweather never showed/had stamina issues before.

He also showed that he isn't that difficult to hit anymore either, both Hatton and DLH landed enough on him and made it show in his face after the fights.

I dont know about Floyd declining but his work rate was slightly lower in 2007, and I do believe that Pacman has the best chance out of all the 140 - 147 pounders of beating Floyd. I dont think Cotto is fast enough, and he doesnt quite have the sharpness that Manny has on his punches.
