It's just a playful tickle, I know a girl who jumps 3 feet into the air the moment someone pokes her sides. Don King is sensitive to it too.
:roflThis vid just cracks me up...Tyson just "taps" King and sends flying, as you said...it was truly comical.
He proably said "I made you" which is essentially the truth. Without kissing Ali's A$$, King would have remained a low level Racqueteer. Instead, he became a rich, famous Racqueteer.
Great Point. Though he probably said it in stronger language. And probably the reason why King screwed him over for purse payment for the Holmes fight.
LOL The reason Don King tried to screw any fighter was simply that he could. He is the classic example of the Scorpion and the Frog personified. The fact that he is in the Boxing Hall of Fame speaks to boxing self-loathing.
I've wondered this same thing too. To the point I know a deaf woman who can read lips and asked her to see if she could ascertain....she couldn't. Here's my thoughts (and I watched it live, FWIW)... Notice Ali was "geeked up" after it was stopped . There was a crowd beginning to surround him (the eerie image of the cat in the red coat with the pistol trying to protect him.) Dundee off to the side pumping his fists to the crowd, etc. The big thing that stands out his when Norton (I think) tried to lift him and it was a clearly "get off me" response from Ali. Throughout the chaos, it wasn't "I'm the greatest" but appeared more "Get the **** away from me". Now, as for profanity...I can tell you I have been following Ali since I was a kid at the 5th street gym (it's like that). I never, ever, ever, heard him use profanity (unless he was quoting someone) so I doubt he saved it just for when the camera's couldn't pick it up. In the end, I think it was more of a "get away from me, back up" Ali was saying, but in general. Not just to King but to everyone. I think King was caught off-guard and was more concerned with Ali's well-being than being told to get away. That's my two cents anyway.
he said "I aaam King, not you". well he defintely said the first bit anyway. i seen it on a poster with his gob wide open.
