What did Alvarez say is next for post fight?

    They asked him about fighting Maritnez (not possible, don't even know why he was asked about Martinez), Cotto or Lara. Said he will sit down with his team and decide what to do next.


    IMO, if Cotto beats Martinez, Canelo is going to move up to MW to challenge for the lineal MW title. Cotto vs Martinez has a lot of stake for HBO if Martinez were to lose. GBP/Showtime will grab ahold of that "title" have Canelo, Quillin, Charlo brothers all recycle it and leave out Golovkin/HBO in the cold. I am a big Martinez fan, and hope for the sports sakes, he beats Cotto!

    Martinez is shot, Cotto fought like a beast in his last fight. Cotto beats Martinez easy.

    Spot on. Hate this bull**** but you can see it coming.

    Best thing that could happen for the sport would be if one of HBO or Showtime dropped out. The competition between these two networks enable the splits we see through the sport.

    even if he fought Martinez, the fight would never be signed at 160

    If cotto beats Martinez that's Floyds next work. Not a thing canelo can do about it either.
