Ariza has been under the microscope for a long time, more so since the Rios incident, yet some idiots believe he gave Maidana something illegal during last nights fight, in front of doctors and the camera's ? GTFOOH

 

To my knowledge all a fighter is allowed to have between rounds is water. So unless it was a pill shaped ice cube then it was illegal.

1st fight between Pryor/Arguello. They caught a footage of Pryor's trainer (Panama Lewis) giving Pryor something to drink from the black bottle.

Panama Lewis was caught on film saying "Give me the bottle, no, the one I MIXED"

However, the Miami athletic state commission did not test them after since they were a newly established commission. That's what I remember so we never knew the truth as to what was in the bottle.

Luis Resto years ago (Another boxer who cheated with Lewis) confirmed that Panama Lewis may have put asthma pills in the bottle. These asthma pills were used for increasing lung capacity.

 

Hmm.. it definitely looks like salts, which aren't allowed. I hope I'm wrong though. Either way, there is no way it would show up on a post-fight drug test.

smelling salts had a common place in boxing once upon a time. Most of the ATG's used it. They WERE banned recently but they are hardly a PED.

Even football players like Brady and Manning have used them during games.
