Not that it mattered in the end, but he signed off on that **** poor ref. That was one of the worst refs I have ever seen in a pro bout. Who the **** let that guy near the ring?

Chisora not throwing off the jab or in combos was also a mistake.

Spot-on post. From the waist-up, I thought he was totally ineffective. From the waist-down, it was mostly plodding. That's all he could do given the huge skills/talent gap.

He didn't show a lot of interest during the fight. It was almost like he wasn't there that and his defense sucks.

Didn't let his hands go when he was backing Haye up and everytime they went to a corner he allowed himself to be far too easily clinched and turned without much resistance. For a guy that weighed in 2+ stone more than Haye, he certainly didnt make that size count.

he was doing ok. And i felt haye was the one that was tiring as he isn't used to that pace and pressure. I'd have said throw more jabs. he didnt set anything up, work the body alot more,

His style is all arong for fighting Haye

A come forward brawler vs a huge puncher with handspeed will end the same way 9 times out of 10

You can't just eat punches from a guy like Haye

As I have said before, against people who are his own size, Haye lets his hands go, people who thought he would throw 8 punches a round must have only seen him face Valuev and Wlad

Yes I agree. Can't really blame Haye he's more careful vs. guys who have 40 lbs on him but still, you can't win by backpedaling for 12 rounds and throwing the odd lucky potshot.

he would've been better off concentrating on his defense for the first half of the fight, lure david into thinking that he was too afraid to throw, then unleash some heavy counters with increasing venom. to be honest though, he was always going to struggle to catch haye; he's not a fast puncher and his technique is pretty basic. if the KO hadnt have come, i reckon the fight wouldve continued exactly as it was en route to a haye decision.

Seemed to me as though Chisora was looking for that one big punch!
