People actually praised Froch for being a loud mouth and being arragant but dislike zhaye for the same antics!

Apparently he is the first ever fight to trash talk. Let's not forget the hate that was on these forums before he pulled out of the Klitschko fight.

Haye has proven repeatedly now, that he is a both a coward. He talks a lot, and then fails to back it up. When he pulled out of the Wladimir fight with a back injury, it was verified as B.S., in less than 24 hours when the story changed and changed and changed. Then he pulled out of fighting Vitali when he finally came to the realization that Vitali was the "mean" Klitschko, and still very capable of beating him into a big pile of crap. So he decides to go after the slow lumbering guy with a belt. He was confident, he has seen all his films, he is tall, he is pretty odd looking, he is hairy, so he must be easy to beat. So he finally shows up to a press conference and actually stands next to Valuev and he soils himself because he realizes he is going to be fighting a human Grizzly bear. So now what? How do I pull out of this? I can't go anywhere....better lay out of some insults to cover the smell of urine and feces.

David Haye is a HOAX. That is all he will ever be in the Heavyweight division. He should return to cruiser weight and be content going life and death with Frenchmen, because the Eastern Euro heavyweights will kill him if they get their hands on him.

He talks to much! Well, nothing wrong with talking big.. but he needs to back it up too!

He cant just insult other fighters like he did to WK, and then back out of fight! He lost a lot of respect by doing that. And imagine if he loses to Valuev, he will look like a complete fool, and nobody will take him serious again! Haye should show some action first, prove he is the real deal.. and then can talk all he want!

he just isn't a likeable person. He first of all compared himself to Holyfield, and he hasn't done jacksh*t in the HW division, he continues to obsess himself with Valuev's appearance and body-hair and things of the like...he acts like a girl thats what it ish, he doesn't handle himself like a boxer, and the whole cardboard stunt was just stupid. I wanted him to win (for the sake of the sport we need a fit, fast heavyweight) but I don't really care anymore...I will tune in though.

Some people can trashtalk and come off as confident and badass, others come off as jerks, in Haye's case he just comes off as a stuck up school girl...

:deal If he was putting in the work I don't think anyone would have problems with his talk, but he hasn't been in the ring a year.

    1. Despite having 2 heavyweight fights against nobody special, he's managed to wrangle shots at the IBF, WBO and WBA titles and almost the WBC title in a year, while guys who don't talk ****, just go to foreign countrys and beat solid contenders like Eddie Chambers has done have to wait.

    2. He talks alot, then does very little. Tyson showed very little respect for other fighters, but he was a seriously bad dude and fought (and mostly destroyed) all heavyweight contenders. Froch talks alot but at least tries to back it up. Ali was at least likeably charismatic, most of the time. If Haye pulls any **** like a last minute injury against Valuev, after mouthing off constantly again, I'm giving up on him. I'll support him for this fight but he'd better finally do the business.

how would we know if he is good or not at HW?. Haye has had only 1 fight since moving up to HW... 1 FUGHT and that was against Barret. Give me ****ing break. The guy has fought once in 2 years since moving up.

Yeah TALKING being the main problem mate, if he had actually got into the ring and proved he could take them on then fine, but he has not

He just will stand in line with guys like Larry Donald, Ruslan Chagaev, Johny Ruiz and 46 years old Evander Holyfield. Not a big deal. Only brits would suck his dick if he wins.

Along with the "back it up already", he's just painful to watch. Alot of guys look pretty dumb with their trash talk (some are clever or just fun to watch, like Toney) but Haye seems to put so much effort into it only to come off like a 10 yr old. It's beyond forced.

Valuev/Haye, at least, is a win/win... Valuev wins, Haye looks like a fool; Haye wins, we can move on from "the Valuev years" (Nick seems like a good guy, but he's not good for the sport).
